Privacy Policy
1. Your photos
When you open a RAW file in RAWSnap, it is read directly from your device into your browser's memory and processed there with WebAssembly. Image files, previews and exported JPGs are not transmitted to our servers or to any third party. Closing the tab removes them from memory. Exported JPGs are saved by your browser to the location you choose.
2. Information stored in your browser
RAWSnap uses your browser's local storage for two things only: your interface language and any custom presets you save (slider values and a name). This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be removed by clearing site data in your browser settings.
3. Advertising and cookies
RAWSnap is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
- Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland may be shown a consent message managed through Google's certified consent tools, where you can accept or reject advertising cookies.
4. Server logs
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical request data (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver and protect the site. We use only aggregated traffic statistics and do not attempt to identify individual visitors.
5. Email
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
6. Children
RAWSnap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
